Ideology.
Have you noticed that, when TV news anchors say the phrase "ideology of hate", they pronounce the word "eye-dee-ology", as if to stress the 'idea' homophone of the word, but when they say the phrase, "extremist ideology," the pronounce the word "id-ee-ology," as if to stress the 'idiot' homophone? I've been paying attention to this over the last few weeks, and it seems pretty consistent.Just an observation.
